Today I am going to introduce you to a cool new fashion brand, RIDRESS which has just come out with a fabulous new website Ridress.com.

I ordered a gorgeous black top and comfy polo pants from them and it arrived in  a cool packaging; in a black cloth bag. 

The clothes were neatly wrapped in tissue paper.

This is what came in my package. First of all, I love the fabric of the polo pants. It is really light and comfortable. As for the top, I love the detailing that they have done on the pockets and the way they have tried to conceal the buttons so that the tops looks seamless.


Their outfits are young and stylish and they have a good collection of party and work wear. I love their innovative and sometimes quirky designs especially their chic floral jackets.

To sum it up, I would say that RIDRESS delivers contemporary fashion clothing that harmonizes with every mood and occasion.

Spykar store review and EOSS

Last week, I was invited over to the Spykar store in Oberoi mall to check out their End of Season Sale and boy was I amazed! They have flat 50% off on women’s wear and flat 40% off on their men’s wear collection. Accessories, too are heavily discounted so if you are planning to buy a new deo or a wallet, you can definitely rush to their stores now. I am sure you will definitely want to check out a few of their clothes first before you make a decision. So let me quickly run you through their collection.


In the Autumn and Winter Collection, Spykar had taken up the unique theme of Unravel and they experimented with various printing and embossing techniques. Plus, they had tried to do their branding in a unique fashion. I had an amazing time clicking photographs in their store. Have a look at them.



The women’s wear featured some casual tees and shirts. This one depicting the Red Hiding Hood is my absolute favourite.

In the men’s collection, I loved the Zebra tee, which I was told is in great demand. It comes in two colours and it has a gorgeous velvet emboss effect. I wouldn’t mind owning this myself.

Spykar had amazing offers on accessories, too. Those wallets look like the perfect Valentine’s Day gift don’t they?

I had a lovely time reviewing their Autumn Winter collection and I definitely look forward to checking out their latest collection which will be released in March.

The Great Indian Railways Litterbug!

I am sure you must have seen TOI’s latest campaign on the Great Indian Litterbug. I for one could not help ROFLing after reading it. But when I reread it, I could not help but hang my head is shame. I could easily identify with some of the things they had mentioned because at one point of time, I had done the same! From now on, I am going to do my bit and not litter our beautiful country but I also want to spread awareness about this campaign through my blog. So here’s presenting, Munni of all Trades’ “Great Indian Railways Litterbug”.

We all have travelled in a train at least once in our life time and we have definitely experienced these 3 typical Railways Litterbugs doing their thing in front of our eyes in the Great Indian Railways. Let’s get to know them better.

The Fruit-y aunty

This aunty wants her children to be healthy and strong and in order to ensure that she makes full use of all the free time that she has at hand during the train journey. She buys dozens of oranges, apples, chikoos, bananas and all other fruits sold by hawkers at platforms. She then proceeds to peel them with her nail cutter knife and serve it lovingly to her children who have great fun throwing the orange pips and banana skins on the floor so that by the end of the journey the entire compartment has a marvellous stench.

The (W)Rapper Uncle

This uncle loves everything that comes wrapped in a shiny wrapper and he loves to decorate the entire train with silver paper. Chips, biscuits, chocolate and anything and everything; this uncle is partial to all. He will spread them evenly along with little bits of food to attract cockroaches, too. After all it will add to the decor, won’t it?

The Chikni Chameli/ Chamela

This Chameli/ Chamela loves grease and chiknayi and wants to spread it on the train seats, on the train beds, walls and everybody else. They will bring in homemade food, spill its contents wherever possible and not bother to clean up. Their plastic boxes containing the leftovers will be kept under the seats as they rest their feet with their shoes on of course on somebody’s suitcase. The train is their world and they do what they please to blacken it, dirty it and filthify it (yes, it is a word!) so that it cannot be used ever again.
