Today I am going to introduce a brand new website that has some of the most interesting brands available along with features like My Beauty Score and Expert Advice. Let’s get to know Aplava better.
About Aplava
Aplava derives its name from sanskrit origins. Aplava (pronounced “AAp luv” in original sanskrit) means taking a bath to purify oneself. It’s an ablution process of cleansing oneself. Just as the name suggests, Aplava wants to give its customers an experience of divine purity. They believe that Beauty is you!
Website review
Aplava sells a combination of household brands and niche, luxurious beauty brands on its website and has a wide range of products to suit every skin type. They say that their team of dermatologists and beauty advisors have handpicked the products to be featured on the website across categories.
The website looks appealing and inviting and I had great fun wish listing some of the products they had. I even went through the Beauty Score questionnaire which is fairly basic. According to my skin and hair type, I was recommended certain products which were surprisingly pretty good.
They also have an ‘Ask the Beauty expert section’ where you can send in your skin concerns. I am yet to explore this bit.
Since it is a fairly new website, it does have some glitches. For example certain categories, though listed, do not have any products at all. Also, you do not have the option to click on a product and read about it as of now. But I am sure the hardworking team is doing its best to sort it out!
