How the Godrej – See thru 7 inch Video door phone keeps me safe and happy!

“Why in the world do we need one?” I remember asking my mom (before we got the new Godrej – See thru 7 inch Video door phone a few weeks ago), rather annoyed by her continual demands to have a security system in place for our house. But she persisted, rallying around that security systems aren’t just about keeping you secure.
“It’s about making life easier. It helps me to not have to attend to the door every time the bell rings.”
Ever since she was diagnosed with arthritis a month back, she had been in perpetual pain. Despite the doctor advising rest, and me suggesting that we hire a cook, she had ensured that her little kitchen fortress hadn’t fallen into outside hands for the cooking.
“How do you expect me to attend to the door when I am bathing or busy cleaning the house?”

“Do you want the stir-fry to be overcooked just because I had to leave the kitchen in case I hear some suspicious noise?”

So after her continual requests, I began to look for security solution before I chanced upon the Godrej – See thru 7 inch Video door phone. What compelled me to buy this gadget? A number of reasons actually!

Its ishtyle factor!
I like to surround myself with gorgeous things and a security system should be no different! A dual tone design with a fine finish makes it look elegant and tasteful. A magnetic handset along with a touch sensitive keypad only adds value to its stunning looks.
Beauty with brains

My mom thinks that I often end up picking pretty things instead of going for something practical. She pursed her lips and I could see a bubble of “You are going to regret this” form in her head when she first saw the device.
It took her hardly few days to realize that this time I had picked up a winner. What’s helped Mom the most is the fact that one can have audio communication, and make live transmissions on a crystal clear LCD display using a CCTV outside. It also allows for a mechanism to conveniently unlock the door without having to go and manually do it saving her a lot of trouble.
For the mad scientist
Do you remember the cartoons that show a mad crazy scientist who is very forgetful and often ends up mixing his experiments? Well, I am exactly like that! Being very forgetful in nature, I find it difficult to remember whether I paid the dudh wala bhaiya or I have lost the money mom gave me! But this device’s ability to capture photographs and to save them in an inbuilt memory has saved me a lot from Mom’s anger to whom I often forget to report about who came by when she had gone out.

I indeed owe a lot of my peace to the new Godrej – See thru 7 inch Video door phone. I never would have known the fun in staying secure, if not for it.

About Munni of all Trades

KhushbooWe remember the day seven years back when were travelling in a Mumbai local trying hard to come up withe a name for our blog when struck us; Khushboo was always called a Jack of all Trades. The name stuck (with a slight modification, of course) and Minni was born. Six years, over 100 collaboration, lakhs of readers and several awards later; our love for blogging continues to grow. We continue to write on an eclectic range of topics from the funniest autorickshaw signs that we have spotted in Mumbai to how to bathe an elephant. We are true blue Munni of all Trades and we hope to continue on this joyride with our fellow Munnies and Munnas. Read More
